5.25 Catch data page for trawlers

When a trawlis selected in the GEAR menu, and the menu cursor

is in the main menu or the extra menu, the catch data page for

trawling will be displayed in the menu field when the menu

joystick is pressed to the left.

In order to get the school presentation and the school data, the

automatic target tracking must be used. The vertical distribution

of the school is determined by manual or automatic tilting of the

sonar beam. Note that the school on the catchdata page can be out

of centre because it depends on the position of the target’s centre

of gravity. The trawl symbol should always be sighted on the

horizontal centre of this page.

When the trawl symbol is selected, and the extension of the

trawl’s course is inside a distance of 200 meters from the target,

the trawl symbol should be visible on the catch data page.
