Set the sonar range to 175 meters.

Lower the transducer to MIDDLE position by giving a

short press on the LOWER button.

Normally the

transmitter will not start before the

transducer reaches the middle position.

In cases where it

is impossible to lower the transducer

, this system can be

overridden in the following way:

- Move

the menu cursor

below the PP filter to the

CONSTANTS in the extra menu

, and push enter.

- Move the cursor to SIMRAD TEST and push

enter.
